Play Games Australia doesn't require an account. We don't ask for your name, your email, your address or your payment details. The only information we hold is what your browser stores for itself, and any message you choose to send us.
2. What we collect
- Browser storage: a small note that you've confirmed your age, your choice on the storage notice, and game preferences such as mute or display options. These stay in your browser and don't come back to us.
- Basic web logs: like most sites, our server may record a request log (timestamp, page URL, browser type) for security and reliability. We keep these for a short time and don't link them to a person.
- Email correspondence: if you write to us, we keep your email so we can reply and remember any context.
3. What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't run advertising or behavioural tracking on the site.
- We don't have a wallet, a payment integration or a real-money system.
4. Children
The site is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the site, please get in touch and we'll help.
5. Your rights under Australian law
You have rights under the Australian Privacy Principles, including the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it. Because we collect so little, this is usually a very short conversation.
6. Third parties
We use a hosting provider to run the website and an email service to receive your messages. We don't share information with anyone for advertising purposes.
7. Changes
When we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page.
